This year, Home Minister Rajnath Singh gave the Central Reserve Police Force’s or CRPF’s ‘Shaurya Diwas’ a miss on Saturday in south Delhi’s Vasant Kunj. Apparently, the Minister finds the function jinxed. On a couple of earlier occasions, his experience was not happy. Once, he got stuck in an elevator and had to be pulled up through the roof of the elevator. On another occasion, there was a power cut as he was speaking. He didn’t want to be third time unlucky.
